How to access the AI World Fair

Everything you need to know about getting into the three-day extravaganza, October 25-27

The AI World Fair Main Stage, Innovation City, Decentraland

With over 40 speakers covering the breadth and depth of the artificial intelligence ecosystem; a gamified environment; exclusive wearables; and loads of rewards for participants, the inaugural AI World Fair is not to be missed.

You don’t need a ticket, invite or secret password to enter and access is free for each of the three days.

So, how do you get in on the action? It’s really quite simple…

Technical considerations

For the best in-world experience with better graphics and a faster, more stable connection, we recommend using the Decentraland Desktop app. You will need a Digital Wallet for this, as the Desktop Client can’t be used in demo mode.

While the browser experience is vastly improved, the desktop just provides a more reliable and higher quality experience.

Location

The AI World Fair is being hosted in the AI District, Innovation City. This is Decentraland’s newest precinct, designed to showcase the very latest technologies and concepts. It’s also home to Sophia The Robot’s headquarters—SophiaVerse.

Getting in

If you’re familiar with Decentraland, you can jump straight into the experience using this link, from October 25-27.

If you’re a first timer, head to play.decentraland.org, where you’ll see the following prompts:

If you have a digital wallet, select the tab on the left (although the system will automatically recognise if you have a Wallet browser extension), sign in and go.

You can also access as a guest by selecting the right tab, although you won’t be able to benefit from rewards as you won’t have a Wallet to store them in. Of course, you can still enjoy the full range of content on offer at the AI World Fair.
